“Why buy it when you can build it” was the philosophy Ben Gilliom adopted in small-town Indiana.  Helping on his father’s farm is where he first learned to work with raw materials like steel and wood.  For decades, he’s continued to learn, design, create and sell his work through commissions, online stores and local galleries. Ben expanded his skills to become a contractor and began renovating, flipping and renting homes. He designed and built his first tiny home when a family friend needed a small and affordable place to live. This sparked further exploration in to our community’s needs, efficiency and sustainability. He later took on the role of Project Manager and Director of Operations at City Church Fort Wayne to lead their multi-million dollar building project. Through these various small and large projects Ben’s signature style and values have built what Dwell Well is today.
